PREPARING FOR THE GREAT EXPEDITION
Preparation for the Great Expedition is a workshop, which teach practical preparation for each journey, both the distant and the near. During the workshops, children learn to use the map, mapping routes and marking important places. They learn the names of the continents and plan their route on their own. During the workshops, we pack backpacks with the children, and the children have to choose the necessary ones among many items. We complete two sets of necessary clothes - one set for a trip to the mountains and the other to the seaside. Preschoolers learn how to put up a tent , then they put a sleeping bag in it, a sleeping mat and make sure you lie down comfortably. During the classes, children have the opportunity to talk to each other via walkie-talkies and discuss vaccination issues with travelers, languages and safety during the trip.
